  32. too lazy to try and set-up a dialling/interface-attaching
  33. system (made more difficult by Freenet II's SLIP driver as
  34. well). That is why Acornet is so great! I've got FreeDial
  35. somewhere, but never got round to integrating it with my
  36. existing setup...

  46. Yes, I e-mailed him last year to 'complain' about the client
  47. losing or corrupting data. I don't think it's anything to do
  48. with that ftp client though, but a problem with Freenet II
  49. and task-windows. sFTP also suffers from the problem, but
  50. ArcWeb's ftp client doesn't (neither did FreeFTP). I'm
  51. convinced it's task-windows, because other apps which use
  52. them (like FreeSMTP) will sometimes go haywire and suffer
  53. internal errors (after which point, bringing up any
  54. task-window is impossible, and it's best to re-boot).
